Rare antique Scottish highland oil on canvas by John Smart (1838 - 1899 Edinburgh). This is a signed work which is No. 1 in a series of three painted by between 1884 and 1885. John Smart was a member of the Royal Society of Art (RSA) and is known for these highlands paintings. This piece is in good antique condition. Recommend frame restoration.
