Piet Hein Mid Century Walnut and Brass Nightstands End Tables - A Pair
Fabulous pair of mid century modern sculptural nightstands/end tables designed by Danish inventor and designer Piet Hein (1905-1996). These walnut tables feature a unique - almost Asian - flared frame which supports a single drawer cabinet, set above double-crosshatched doors and finished with brass star polygon knobs. They really are a work of art!! (Protective glass tops are not pictured but included). No structural damage noted to either stand but one cabinet door fascia needs glue. Otherwise, these mid-century nightstands show the typical wear on corners, drawer rims and tops consistent with age and use which appear to be superficial.
