Beautifully handcrafted antique mahogany double bookshelf. Features eight adjustable shelves offering plenty of space for your favorite books and collectibles in addtion to two bottom drawers! Nice mouldings and fluted columns give this piece wonderful character while the sawtooth rail and slat shelf system speaks to the age of this piece. This technique was widely used in furniture making during the 18th and 19th centuries! Excellent antique condition with minor wear consistent with age and use.
