1940s Shawnee Pottery Corn King 21-pc set
The Shawnee Pottery Company produced pottery from 1937 to 1961 in Zanesville, Ohio. They were best known for this "Corn King" as well as the Pennsylvania Dutch lines of pottery which are still very collectible! At the height of operations, Shawnee produced 10,000 pieces per day intended for sale in "five and dime" stores. This 21-pc set is in excellent preowned condition with some exceptions noted below.
